The breakfast was substantial and offered special diet options. Our rooms were modern, spacious, and equipped with a mini fridge and bathroom.- The hotel is situated in a convenient location, close to a shopping center, a cinema, and various shops.

A huge variety of meals for breakfast, it was excellent. Location: the hotel was near the Salamanca suburb of Santa Marta de Tormes and city center. I often went to Foster's Hollywood to pick up some food;)))

Hard to think of anything.

As for the breakfast, in principle well, only that in the room it was quite cold, without being all the well acclimatized that it should, for the current dates of cold; from 10. 30 they begin to collect, in a precipitate way (in this case the milk), that there are of all the types, because I commented to the waiter, in time that I was going to take milk so that I warmed up it and not to take it to him. next morning at about the same time, counting that the service ends at 11. 00 there was only normal milk, I asked him for soy milk in this case to serve me. best thing about the hotel is the location, attention at the reception, apart from the room service, is very good, as well as the outside parking, is free;
As soon as I entered the room, bathroom smelled like they had smoked before, as well as the room's curtains, also smelled. curtains in the bath, little bit cheesy, pillow, quite old, a little uncomfortable. second night, with an early morning curfew, since the guests upstairs, making noise and reggaeing at full speed, without respect for the others. However, regarding the breakfast service, I was not convinced, besides the stay, since you had to be quite warm, as it was cold, counting that it is a kind of terrace, closed, should take more into account. I give it a 3 star, because four seems too exaggerated.

The carpet, I think, is a comfortable but unhygienic thing for a hotel. This time the room (308) was very good and it cost 39 euros, but in the one we stayed in 15 days ago (room 127 and price 74 euros) the furniture had no drawers, there was no mini bar where you could cool a bottle of water, and they didn't provide us with toiletries such as body cream or the dental kit, among others, and this time they did. The hotel's restaurant, Arcadia, has an expensive weekend menu for what they offer (22 euros). To give you an example, the risotto with boletus and prawns: boletus didn't have and hardly tasted of this ingredient and only had one prawns broken into pieces. I am celiac and they did give me the option of gluten-free bread but the variety of dishes, is not such because, although they offered me to make some modifications in the menu, in the end you hardly have a choice, because from the first 4 the choice was reduced to 2, including a salad that of course because of what it had was not at all appropriate to include it in a menu that costs 22 euros. The dessert, some mango custard and apple ice cream, was delicious. The waitress who served us lunch behaved "excessively cordial". We were customers, we didn't try to make friends, we simply went to enjoy a meal after a whole morning of examinations. You should be careful how you treat your customers. This waitress, when she saw that we were not satisfied with the service or the food served, from the comments she heard, did not even ask us if something was not to our liking or if we were going to have coffee. As for the reception staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The pool is fine, although my suggestion is to extend the opening hours by one more hour, it currently closes at 8pm. The price of the breakfast seems to me excessive (between 7 and 8 ?) although to tell the truth we did not contract breakfast because of schedule problems.

The situation, , next to a shopping centre , on the outskirts, with easy access to Salamanca. In a very quiet place with hardly any noise. Comfortable beds and pillows, with a pillow menu. With free outdoor parking. The breakfast buffet was complete and varied but without natural orange juice and in a four star hotel it does not apply.
A lot of heat in the room, we solved it by sleeping the whole bridge of the saints with the window open. Few sockets in the room, none on the bedside table. Buffet breakfast on weekdays until 10.30 and on weekends until 11.00. Before that time they already began to pick up the buffet, on Sunday 4th at 10.50 they were already picking up the buffet. Of the three days we were staying only two communicated to customers that they would proceed to collect and if we wanted to take something before. A client came down to have breakfast at 11.05 and found everything packed up. It is a four star hotel and one expects to find a minimum of courtesy and politeness. It's the only one of the many Sercotel chain hotels I've stayed at that's happened to me.

rooms are very good, they would need a little updating both the rooms and bathrooms, mattresses to my taste perfect, pillows for my taste very low and soft, request a viscoelastic cervicals higher and firm and without problems, complete minibar, safe (you have to ask for a key at reception to activate key), bathroom very complete with products, cleaning of rooms very good, breakfast very complete and good, has two parking, although of normal there is place in the one of out (free), closed one only costs 5 euros/day, swimming pool, if you like cold, well, dining room for suppers, has some exquisite elaborations and an unsurpassable service, with two differentiated menus (Monday to Thursday and of Friday to Sunday and festive), it has cafeteria, situation of the hotel this very well and with a commercial center near. I'll be back for sure.
If I have to put a but, would be that they only have two menus, one from Monday to Thursday and another from Friday to Sunday and holidays, ie if you take half board and throw a week, you'll be a few days eating the same thing, I reported in the kitchen and offered to combine with the cafeteria dishes, a success, because they are also great.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel with style, Hotel Alda Rio Tormes is the perfect choice for you. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, which were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were excellent, always going out of their way to assist us and ensuring our stay was pleasant. We also appreciated the option of free parking in the outdoor lot, with the added safety of video cameras.
Although the hotel is a bit of a walk from the city center, we found it to be worth it for the great price, nice rooms, and helpful staff. I highly recommend Hotel Alda Rio Tormes for a budget-friendly and stylish stay in Salamanca.

-What I liked best was the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, both sweet and savoury. -which is next to a mall (el tormes mall). - free parking (outside) inside the hotel (although almost always full)
-As they say in other comments, at 8 a.m. the cleaning ladies start slamming doors and hitting people of all kinds. -The shower was the mythical thing that water either comes out boiling or warm/cold in the 21st century? -the hotel is, for example, 2.8 km away from the main square in salamanca so you have to take a car and I say it is impossible to get a place at certain hours so either you pay for the closed parking or you drive around outside to park

Well positioned - the hotel is close by Salamanca and in vicinity there is a Comercial Center.
I would like to have a cheaper breakfast included in the room's price.
